Rcgi News
Current edition is Rcgi release 4pre1 ("Weston")
8 January 2001 --- After 18 months in the wilderness, the new development project is nearing the end of its first phase. It is with some pleasure that I announce that a pre-release of release 4 is now available for download. There's also a mailing list. Go to the signup page and join rcgi@coollist.com, please.
20 April 1999 --- Rcgi 3a ("Cardiff") released. This is a bug-fix release of Rcgi 3, motivated by a presentation by Dr Janacek. Release 3, which wasn't widely announced, tidied the Perl code and made it much more efficient, but it now needs CGI.pm (part of Perl since v5.004).
1 April 1999 --- My target date for Rcgi release 3, in light of some points raised at the RSC. Expect to see development releases (2a, 2b, etc) appear. You really should use release 2 instead of those.
22-25 March 1999 --- I will be giving a talk on Rcgi at the stats Research Students Conference. The slides are online.
9 March 1999 --- Website updated at long last. This is now a quick news/developments page and you should follow links for more info about Rcgi. Keep an eye on this page for updates and latest news.
