Reduced blogging presents: thoughts from the kohacon2k6 trip:-

  • land travel is still cheaper than air - GBP30 instead of GBP200 - airport departure tax alone is GBP50
  • check-in halls are grungy, though
  • can get BBC R4 in fr thanks to 200kHz
  • food prices at stations are horrific
  • surprisingly many people in fr who don't speak fr
  • hot room = sleep
  • opencataloger
  • international bug reporting is needed
  • koha france user group: afu-koha?
  • free culture = free x(software +content +access)
  • blackheath has lots of greenery
  • long traffic jams
  • hot weather = naked drivers!
  • mashed potato gallery?
  • it's election day for some when I return
