College Teaching

These are some notes, worksheets and other things I have found useful while teaching. I put them online here for students and others to use if they find them helpful too.

A2 - AQA Mathematics B

I am teaching three modules: pure 4 (autumn), statistics 4 (spring) and pure 5 (spring/summer). I have a rough plan for the year.

Pure 4

Notes and worksheets for selected topics:

• Series, sequences and convergence
• Compound angle formulae (geometric derivation for small angles)
• Numerical methods summary
• Remainder theorem summary (to be redrafted)
• Calculus of non-parametric methods

Past test papers:

• October - includes basic trig, sequences and series, rates of change, chain, product and quotient rules
• November exam planned for 27th - covers rest of pure 4
• December exam will probably be a past exam paper

Statistics 4

This isn't really taught until January. Notes as they're written for other things appear below:
