Flax Bourton Greenway

North Somerset Cycle Forum members visited the nearly-complete Flax Bourton Greenway from Backwell Bow to Cambridge Batch (part of National Cycle Network (NCN) Route 33) on Wednesday 5 September 2007.

The track surface is unsealed. This may change in parts for safety (beware the corners onto the railway bridge, but go slow there for the bridleway junctions anyway) and the track may be upgraded later. There was still machinery on site at the time of the visit.

Riding gently with stops took about 45 minutes. Riding moderately fast took 15 minutes.
