Scheme Weekly News for 2002-07-01
This is a round-up of news and announcements related to the Scheme programming language, mostly taken from newsgroups, mailing lists and web sites that I'm aware of. The aim is to publish in multiple formats on the web each week, but more on that later.
This is the full stable release of the new MzScheme and DrScheme system, including many developments over v103 such as modules, more graphical tools, a parser-tools collection and more translations. All users are advised to upgrade.
This is a development release of the SISC Java-based interpreter. Changes include serialisation improvements and bugfixes.
mod_scheme for Apache 2, v 0.2.5
mod_scheme embeds a thread-safe Scheme interpreter into Apache 2. This release includes more configration in httpd.conf and more request_rec interfaces. Work is continuing.
This is a full release of this embeddable Scheme interpreter. It updates the GC, improves unicode support and adds support for SRFIs 25, 26 and 28.
Marko Reidel's Scheme interpreter for GNUstep has had two small bugfixes to its first release. Sadly, releases are not yet clearly numbered.
